Jenna Nilson
Jenna Nilson is a doctoral researcher and a Chancellor’s International Scholarship recipient at the University of Warwick, where she is a member of the Social Science Research Group within the Department of Education Studies. Her research focuses on drama-based pedagogy and its potential for fostering inclusive language learning environments, specifically through the lens of feminist and relational teaching strategies to support girls at risk. Before her doctoral work at Warwick, she received the Graduate Student and Professional Association Teaching Excellence Award from Arizona State University in 2020 and was recognized for her research on the outcomes of drama-based pedagogy in second language classrooms. She actively contributes to the academic community through presentations at international forums, including the Scenario International Conference 2024, where she discussed performing arts in education.
