Sonali Singha
Dr Sonali Singha (she/her) is an early-career academician interested in expanding her knowledge and research on migration and diaspora studies, Black feminist criticism, South African writings in English, and emerging literatures in the African diaspora. Her PhD thesis focused on Black British fiction by women, primarily those of African and Caribbean descent, and explored how the representation of Africa as a physical, metaphorical, and imaginary space shaped and was shaped by these writings. She has published research articles in peer-reviewed Indian journals like Literary Voice and Drishti, which critically analysed the discourse on Black diasporic identity in Bernardine Evaristo's works.
